The story of Forum Consult has begun in 2005, with a large STEP from Vienna to Cluj….
Why Forum Andreea asked me, after a week of talking and remembering all the phases that Forum Consult has got through since 2005 until now. (Andreea has joined our team recently, in order to develop the sales department. Like any good salesman, she started her dialogue with Forum Consult, listening and asking questions…..)

Why Forum????

Two thousand years ago, the majority of the people were influenced by the decisions taken by the Roman Forum.
Forum Consult considers people to be the key of the business success. When people don’t take action, the strategies and the objectives remain only words. The strategy is implemented and the objectives are reached by people who have the necessary motivation, knowledge and skills. Being influenced by people and situations, each of us wanted to become a professor, pilot, stewardess, doctor, and so on, at a certain moment of our life.
But, because we are able to communicate very well with the people around us, we have chosen this job that involves interactions with people.
Because we are aware that best fits the motto “right man in the right place”, we have formed the “Forum Consult” team, having the intention to effectively participate in the decision making process in human resources at a local, national and international level. We believe that we don’t have to stop from improving ourselves; any challenge is an opportunity to develop ourselves, to find new ideas and to see things from another perspective.

To know what you wish and also, to like it!

We are fans of planning, analyzing and solutions identifying.
This doesn’t mean that plans are always fated to be successful.
We consider that in life it’s important to take all the chances that you have, as one of my friends says: „If lucky hits me, should I get out of its way?” just because it was not planned? Yes, we are in the group of the strange ones who really believe that can change the world. (Choice, not chance, determines destiny!)

We believe in the right decisions, in respecting practical facts, in assumed mistakes, in being curious and very present in whatever happens to you. What we are doing now is a pleasure for all of us and so, a hobby. Therefore, we have the advantage of not working ever!
Try to do as many things as you can, so you can learn from all of them!
The feeling that through your work and shared knowledge you have helped someone in a real and pertinent way offers you an extraordinary satisfaction. It’s not just that this “job” brings us “spectacular” satisfactions at a professional level, but we also have succeeded to improve some of our qualities such as discipline and responsibility. When we take on a commitment and we sign a contract, the responsibility towards the client is overwhelming, so there is no room for mistakes, postponing, omitting. Being a part of Forum Consult team involves two dimensions. On one hand, it means to be a part of a company that has really lovely and professional people, whom you want to build long term relationships with; on the other hand, it involves also the responsibility to learn the others how to modify the daily behavior to perform according to the objectives and the strategy of the company which they want to work for.

If you leave behind what you are, you will become what you want to be.
"I’m a really optimistic person, I strongly believe that we are not allowed to ever lose hope, faith or will of doing more. It is probably from my father, who has always told me that you can do anything as long as you want to. I believe in this statement so strong, that I have tried a lot of paths. I have learnt many foreign languages to be able to understand deep meanings of a word or of an idea from different cultures, I have written poetry, I have studied humanistic science in order to understand better the mechanisms of the world. The custom of following paths chosen by myself has determined me to run from restraints that I had considered useless. This is how I had the courage to give up the security of fixed business hours job and to take the risks of beginning my own business.

I have learnt an extremely important lesson: you are the most sever boss that you could ever have, meaning that nothing disciplines you more than the idea of being your own employee. During all this trip, only one thing has remained constant, which is the need of transmitting to the others what I have learnt. I don’t thing there is a deeper joy than helping the others to discover new things, also learning from them. Professional satisfaction is when the tiredness after a day of “work” is joined by a large smile thinking that some people’s life will be different."
